Networking meeting of the Somalilanders organisations in UK

On the 8th of September 2007, West London Somaliland Community has co-organised with Somaliland Society in Europe (SSE) a networking meeting held at Oxford House in Bethnal Green. The aim of the meeting was to develop a strategy to work together and build Communication Bridge between the Somalilanders organisations in UK. The reason that this meeting was held is that there are many Somalilanders organisation in UK but there is no contact between them. The most of those organisations work in the development field back home in Somaliland and building a networking between them can be very beneficial for the people in need in Somaliland.

More than ten organisations took part of that meeting and they all agreed to strengthen the communication between the Somalilanders organisations and to hold a follow-up meeting to develop a networking strategy.
