West London Somaliland Community launching day

On the 26th of May 2007 West London Somaliland Community has been launched in Southall at the Dominion Arts & Cultural Centre. More than 200 people attended the launching event. The interim management committee has presented the program of the organisation to the community and explain why there is a need for this program.

The atmosphere was very positive and the attendees were very happy to see finally an organisation that will represent and serve the Somaliland community for the first time. Among the invited people was the vice-president of the Somaliland Republic who was on a visit in the UK at that time and other Somalilnaders intellectual who came from West London area and across UK.
