Visit to Hayes Fire Station

West London Somaliland Community has organised a visit, on the 16th of October, for the community members to Hayes Fire Station as part of our activities to bridge the gap between the community and the public services providers. This visit has been organised in order to raise awareness about the services available at the fire stations and discover the work of the fire fighters beyond a noisy fire engine on the Streets.

It was a very good experience for the community members who have took part to the visit and one of them said: “I didn’t knew that the fire fighters could come to your home and do a safety check for your house and install a fire alarm all for free”.

West London Somaliland Community will definitely keep organising visits to the local public services providers for an optimal service use of the Somaliland community.
